Maui is an island destination for Kiteboarders from around the world. When traveling to Maui many travelers prefer the country life in Haiku Maui. Our Haiku Maui vacation rental is just the kind of place that offers the island getaway. Pineapple Cottage in Haiku Maui has been a hit with our guest since we first check in our first guest Christmas 2015.
Our last guest that just check out from Santa Barbara, was saying how they love our drive way. It looks like a giant tunnel into the secret garden. They also mention how they loved mornings on the deck for breakfast. They loved the birds singing and gentle breeze blowing through the gulch.
Haiku is a very special place to many people that call it home, and to the traveler looking for a lifestyle experience other than condos or hotel has to offer. Many people staying at Pineapple Cottage find it to be an easy hour and half drive to Hana for the day. A drive up country to Makawao Town is just 10 minutes away. Make sure you try Kokoda’s famous donuts, or visit Polis Mexican Restaurant, food is excellent and they always have videos of Jaws, or windsurfing on Maui’s Northshore. In fact, the owner Tim is always down at Kanaha windsurfing in the afternoon.
If you’re a thrill seeker there is a zip line just up the street from us. I am always amazed how guest visiting our vacation rental in Haiku, take to the highway traveling from one side of the island to the other. Really Maui has some amazing places to visit.
So we are now heading towards spring time. Spring time a favorite time for windsurfing on Maui, so windsurfers from all over the world arrive on Maui. Many are professionals testing out their new gear and getting photo shots for marketing their windsurfing gear to the world. So Maui is a very exciting place. If you’re thinking about a vacation rental in Haiku, you can find our Pineapple Cottage on Vrbo.com or give us a call to check into availability.
